Reserve with Google
A restaurant that takes bookings with Dyner can choose to show a Reserve button on its Google profile. It is optional, it is off until the restaurant switches it on, and it can be switched off at any time.
What the Reserve button is
On Google Search and Google Maps, a Reserve button on the restaurant's Business Profile opens the restaurant's own Dyner booking page. Guests book there exactly as they would from the restaurant's website: the same times, the same rules and deposits, the same prices. The booking goes straight into the restaurant's Dyner diary.
Neither Google nor Dyner charges guests to book, and a booking made from Google costs the restaurant nothing extra.
Switching it on
In Bookings, Settings, Your page, press Switch on under Reserve with Google, read what it means, and agree. Dyner records who agreed and when. If Google needs something Dyner does not have yet, such as the restaurant's phone number, the page says what, and the button appears once it is there.
Coming soon. Dyner is becoming a Google booking partner, so the switch opens once that is live. Until then nothing is sent to Google.
What Google is sent
Only for a restaurant that has switched the button on, once a day: its name, address, phone number, map position, its Google listing where we know it, and its booking page link. Nothing about its guests or its staff.
Switch it off yourself
- 1. Sign in to Dyner.
- 2. Open Bookings, then Settings, then Your page.
- 3. Under Reserve with Google, press Switch off.
Dyner stops sending your restaurant to Google from the next daily update, and Google removes the button within 5 business days. Your booking page stays as it is.
Ask us to take a restaurant off
If you cannot sign in, or the restaurant has left Dyner, tell us which restaurant it is. Someone on the Dyner team checks the request and takes the restaurant off Reserve with Google within 5 business days. You can also email support@dyner.ai.
